Outdoor living truly is part of everyday life here at River Islands! Among other exceptional outdoor amenities that make our community unique, we also offer expansive parks for our residents to explore, relax, and play (including dog-friendly parks for our energetic pups!). Whether you’re picnicking at Michael Vega Park or taking a family walk at Sunset Point after a delicious meal at The Boathouse, we hope you enjoy having full access to basketball hoops, play structures, volleyball courts, bocce ball, and plenty of open space!

ISLANDERS FIELD

Islanders Field is one of the newest additions to River Islands. This brand-new state-of-the-art grass field stadium is the perfect spot for residents and friends to enjoy a memorable experience here in the community. The stadium offers a seating capacity of approximately 500, lights, public restrooms, a scoreboard, public address systems, batting cages and paved parking. River Islands isn’t simply providing the fields. We are contracting with well-established and successful youth programs in the Bay Area to establish leagues, stage clinics, and organize tournaments. Teams from all over are invited to reserve Islanders Field for their next baseball event.

LAKES AND WATER RECREATION

Eleven lakes are already a part of the community’s design, with more water features in the planning. Whether one lives on the water or enjoys it as a community amenity, opportunities abound for water recreation.

TRAIL SYSTEMS

River Islands has a trail system that attracts walkers, joggers and bicyclists. Part of the trail system includes a miles-long path along the San Joaquin River.
